Origins and Vision

We Build We Grow was founded by Wesley Rohadfox as a community organization dedicated to sustainable urban agriculture and food justice in Syracuse, NY. Inspired by their experiences as a Master Gardener, community organizer, and advocate for food equity, Wesley envisioned an initiative that would empower neighborhoods through gardening, education, and collaboration. The organization was built on the belief that access to fresh, healthy food is a right, not a privilege, and that communities can drive systemic change "one garden at a time."
